Challenge
The office required a fibre backbone installed along a planned route, with evidence that the completed links had been tested rather than relying on installation alone. The project later required a door-access enhancement at the same commercial site.
Engineering Approach
TKWIT planned the fibre route, installed the fibre cabling and prepared the completed work for validation and handover. The later access-control work was treated as a follow-on enhancement, with a magnetic door lock installed in September 2026.
Validation
TKWIT completed OTDR testing and shared the test results with the client. Completion of the fibre cabling was communicated in May 2026, creating a documented handover record for the installed backbone.
What This Demonstrates
The work demonstrates an end-to-end approach to commercial infrastructure: plan the route, install the backbone, validate the fibre with OTDR results, document the handover and return for a related physical-access requirement when the site needs it.
Client identity withheld; project facts are based on TKWIT delivery records.
