Port City Colombo & international business

Technology, Security & Infrastructure Solutions for Port City Colombo Businesses

TKWIT helps companies set up offices in Colombo that are secure, connected and operational — cabling, network, Wi-Fi, CCTV, access control, telephony and connectivity delivered by one local engineering team.

Businesses moving into Colombo's newer commercial districts, including the Port City Colombo ecosystem and the surrounding office towers, usually face the same practical problem: the space is ready, the team is arriving, and the office still has to be cabled, connected, secured and made usable.

TKWIT works on exactly that stage of a project. We survey the floor, design the cabling and network, coordinate the internet or leased line through established network operators, install CCTV, access control and IP telephony, and then stay on for maintenance and support. One scope, one point of contact, documented in English.

We do not make claims about zone regulations, incentives or approvals. Our role is the technology and infrastructure inside your premises, plus the connectivity that reaches it.

How a project runs

From site survey to maintenance

A Colombo tower fit-out has a fixed programme and building-management rules. This is the sequence we work to.

  1. Step 1

    Site survey

We walk the floor with your fit-out drawings, note risers, containment routes, comms room location and building-management constraints.

  2. Step 2

    Design and written scope

Cabling counts, network design, camera and door schedules, Wi-Fi coverage plan and connectivity options, priced as a documented scope rather than a verbal estimate.

  3. Step 3

    Installation

Cabling first, then active network, Wi-Fi, CCTV, access control and telephony, sequenced around the fit-out programme and approved working hours.

  4. Step 4

    Testing and handover

Link testing, camera and door commissioning, coverage verification, labelled as-built records and a walkthrough with your team.

  5. Step 5

    Maintenance and support

Scheduled inspections, fault response and moves/adds/changes under an agreed response expectation.

What helps us quote accurately

If you have these, a written scope and budget usually follows quickly.

  • Building, floor and approximate floor area
  • Seating or furniture layout, if the fit-out design is available
  • Headcount now and expected within 12 months
  • Which systems are in scope: cabling, network, Wi-Fi, CCTV, access control, telephony, connectivity
  • Target occupancy date and any building-management working-hour restrictions
  • Head-office IT or security standards we need to comply with
