Orion City Colombo — project photographs and videos
This Port City-related project was installed physically at Orion City, Colombo, not inside Port City. Port City-associated projects can be delivered at premises across Colombo; the association does not identify a developer, client or governing-body affiliation.
The owner confirms that these rack and personnel photographs and five videos belong to this completed UniFi project, and that client permission to publish them has been obtained. Client identity and individual names are not disclosed. Captions identify the project, not additional configuration or performance evidence.

Challenge
This Port City-related project was installed physically at Orion City, Colombo, not inside Port City. Port City-associated projects can be delivered at premises across Colombo; the association does not identify a developer, client or governing-body affiliation.
This site's requirement was to use two internet providers with separate Wi-Fi networks and defined routing, while retaining automatic WAN failover. It was a specific network design for this location, not a template assumed to fit every business.
Engineering Approach
TKWIT connected the SLT and Dialog links to the UCG-Ultra and configured a separate Wi-Fi SSID for each provider. VLAN segmentation and ISP-specific policy-based routing defined how the networks used the two connections, with automatic WAN failover also configured.
UniFi Network provided central administration of the deployment. As an Official UniFi Partner, TKWIT integrates UniFi equipment around the site's routing, segmentation and management needs rather than assuming that every site needs the same equipment or policies. The internet circuits remain services supplied by SLT and Dialog, not by TKWIT as an ISP.
Validation
The owner-confirmed completed work included testing both internet connections and their respective Wi-Fi networks: both worked. Automatic WAN failover was configured and tested as part of the deployment.
No measured switchover time, downtime, throughput or speed results are available for this account. Testing is not presented as a guarantee of uninterrupted sessions, an operator SLA or future performance.
The owner reports that the project’s Wi-Fi issue was resolved within one day. Independent completion logs are not available, so this is a user-reported project statement, not a measured delivery result or a promise for other sites.
What This Demonstrates
The work demonstrates a site-specific combination of provider-separated Wi-Fi, VLANs, routing policies, failover and central administration. A different location may require different segmentation, equipment or backup behaviour; those decisions begin with its users, existing systems and business requirements.
Project questions
- Was this installation physically inside Port City?
- This Port City-related project was installed physically at Orion City, Colombo, not inside Port City. Port City-associated projects can be delivered at premises across Colombo; the association does not identify a developer, client or governing-body affiliation.
- What was configured at Orion City Colombo?
- SLT and Dialog links were connected through a UCG-Ultra with separate provider SSIDs, VLAN segregation, policy routing and automatic failover configured and tested. Both connections and their Wi-Fi networks were tested; UniFi Network provided central administration.
- Does tested failover mean every session will remain uninterrupted?
- No. This account confirms configured and tested automatic failover, not a measured switchover time, uninterrupted-session guarantee or ISP service-level agreement.
- Is the project's one-day resolution independently measured?
- No. The owner reports resolution within one day, but independent completion logs are not available. The separate one-day Wi-Fi service guarantee applies only under the qualifying written agreement and its SLA terms.
Based on owner-confirmed deployment and testing facts. The owner confirms the rack and personnel photographs and five videos belong to this Orion City project and have client permission for publication. Client identity and individual names remain undisclosed. Within-one-day resolution is owner-reported, not independently measured; no project date or measured performance result is asserted.
