Service
CCTV installation in Colombo and across Sri Lanka
We install CCTV systems for homes, offices, shops, warehouses and multi-site businesses — starting with a site visit so the camera positions are decided on the actual building, not on a guess.
Most CCTV disappointment comes from decisions made before installation: cameras aimed at the wrong angle, too little storage to go back and find an incident, or a recorder tucked somewhere nobody can reach. We work through those decisions with you first, put them in writing with the quotation, and then install to that plan.

What's included
What our cctv installation service covers
Everything below is part of the scope we agree in writing before work starts.
Site visit and camera layout
We walk the property, identify entrances, blind corners, cash points, stock areas and vehicle approaches, and mark where each camera goes and what it is meant to see.
Camera and recorder selection
Camera type per position — dome, bullet, turret or PTZ — with resolution and lens chosen for the distance you actually need to identify a person or a number plate, not the biggest number on the box.
Storage sized to your retention
You tell us how many days of footage you want to keep; we size the recorder and hard disks for that retention at the resolution and frame rate we are recording.
Cabling, containment and power
Cable routes planned and run in trunking or conduit, PoE or separate power as the site requires, and terminations made properly so the picture does not drop out later.
Remote viewing on phone and desktop
Mobile and desktop viewing set up and tested on your own connection, with user accounts so staff see only what they should.
Testing, labelling and handover
Every camera checked in daylight and at night, recording and playback verified, cabling and channels labelled, and a walkthrough with whoever will use the system day to day.
Who it's for
Sites we do this work on
If your situation is not listed, ask anyway — we will tell you honestly whether it is work we do.
- Homes and apartments in Colombo and the suburbs
- Offices, showrooms and retail shops
- Warehouses, stores and yards where vehicles and stock move
- Factories and industrial units with wide external perimeters
- Schools, clinics and offices with reception and corridor coverage needs
- Multi-site businesses that want one consistent system across branches
Planning & design
What we work out before quoting
These are the decisions that determine whether the finished system is useful or merely installed.
- What do you need to see, not just cover?
- Detecting movement, recognising a familiar person and identifying a stranger are three different requirements at three different distances. Each one changes lens choice and camera position.
- How far back do you need to look?
- Retention is the single biggest cost driver after camera count. Incidents are often reported days later, so it is worth deciding retention deliberately rather than accepting a default.
- Night and backlight conditions
- Entrances facing bright daylight, unlit rear lanes and car parks all need to be assessed on site, because these are exactly the positions where footage most often turns out unusable.
- Network, internet and remote access
- Remote viewing depends on your internet connection and network. Where the existing network cannot carry it, we say so and quote the network work separately rather than hiding it.
- Power interruptions
- A recorder that loses power stops recording. We discuss where backup power for the recorder and switch makes sense for your site.
- Room to grow
- If more cameras are likely later, we leave recorder channels, switch ports and cable capacity for them so the next phase is not a rebuild.
How it works
Our implementation process
The same order every time, so you always know what stage the project is at.
- 01
Site visit
We attend the site, understand the concern behind the enquiry and mark camera positions.
- 02
Design and quotation
You get a written camera schedule, position list, recorder and storage sizing, and a clear scope.
- 03
Supply
Equipment is supplied against the agreed schedule.
- 04
Installation
Cabling, containment, mounting, recorder and switch installation.
- 05
Configuration and testing
Recording, motion settings, users, remote viewing, day and night checks.
- 06
Handover
Walkthrough, labelling and briefing for the people who will use it.
Afterwards
Maintenance and support
Installation is the start of the relationship, not the end of it.
- Planned maintenance visits and camera cleaning
- Recording, storage and retention checks
- Fault attendance, repairs and replacements
- Annual maintenance contracts (AMC) where you want it handled for you
- Adding cameras or extending an existing system
Questions
Frequently asked
- How many cameras does my site need?
- It depends on the entrances, corners and areas you need covered, not on floor area. A site visit usually reduces the count people expect, because one well-positioned camera often covers what two badly positioned ones would miss.
- Can you work with the cameras I already have?
- Often yes. We check what is installed, what condition the cabling is in and whether the recorder can carry what you want to add, then tell you honestly what is worth keeping.
- Will I be able to view the cameras from abroad?
- Remote viewing can be configured where required, subject to the site internet/network. Where it is included in the scope, we set it up and test it before handover.
- How long does an installation take?
- A small home or office system is usually a short job; larger sites with external cable routes take longer. We give you the expected duration with the quotation rather than after you commit.
- Do you install outside Colombo?
- Yes. We work in Colombo and across Sri Lanka, including multi-site rollouts where every branch gets the same system and the same way of working.

CCTV Maintenance & AMC
A CCTV system quietly stops being useful long before anyone notices. Maintenance exists so that the day you need footage, the footage is there.
See CCTV Maintenance & AMCSecurity Consultation
Before choosing cameras, readers or alarms, it helps to be clear about what you are protecting and where the real gaps are. Our consultation covers exactly that, and produces a plan you could take to anyone.

Access control decides who goes where, and keeps a record of it. We install card, PIN and biometric systems on doors, turnstiles and gates, and set up the rules behind them.
