Setting up in a new country is mostly a sequence of dependencies: space, connectivity, cabling, network, security, telephony, then people. Anything out of order delays the go-live date.
TKWIT covers the technology layer of that sequence for international companies, BPO and IT/ITES operations, shared-service centres and regional offices in Sri Lanka. Arranging Colombo installation work from abroad
Can a company based overseas arrange an IT installation in Colombo before visiting?
Yes. Scoping starts remotely by call or email, using your floor plans and head-office standards. Our Colombo engineers then survey the premises and confirm the scope in writing before installation.
What project details should our head office send?
The building and floor, approximate floor area, seating layout if available, current and expected headcount, the systems in scope, the target occupancy date, building working-hour rules and any head-office IT or security standards.
What systems can one contractor install?
TKWIT installs network and structured cabling, enterprise Wi-Fi, network equipment, CCTV, access control and IP PABX phone systems, and coordinates internet connectivity through network operators.
Where is TKWIT's local team based for Colombo projects?
Our local delivery team works from two Colombo offices: Turnor Road (Colombo 08) and Iswari Road (Colombo 06). From there, our engineers serve sites across Colombo 01 to 08 and Port City Colombo, and are available for projects throughout Sri Lanka; there is no TKWIT office inside Port City.
