IP PABX and office phone systems
We design, install and support IP PABX phone systems — extensions, menus, call routing and recording — running over the network you already have.
A phone system is judged on the calls it does not lose. Most of the value therefore lies in how call flow, extensions and fallback are designed, and in how well the network underneath it behaves when everyone is busy.

What's included
What our ip pabx & phone systems service covers
Everything below is part of the scope we agree in writing before work starts.
System design
Extension plan, departments, call flow, hunt groups, after-hours handling and what happens when nobody answers — mapped before any equipment arrives.
IVR and call routing
Menus and routing set up so callers reach the right person quickly, with routes for reception, departments and out-of-hours.
Installation and configuration
The PABX installed, connected to your lines and network, and configured to the agreed extension and call flow plan.
Handset rollout
Desk phones, softphones or both provisioned, labelled, placed and tested at each position.
Voicemail, recording and reporting
Voicemail, call recording and call reporting configured where you want them, so calls can be reviewed and volumes understood.
Multi-branch and remote extensions
Extensions across branches and for staff working away from the office, dialling internally as if they were in the same room.
Support and changes
Ongoing support for the changes that always come: new extensions, revised menus, staff moves and altered hours.
Who it's for
Sites we do this work on
If your situation is not listed, ask anyway — we will tell you honestly whether it is work we do.
- Offices replacing an ageing analogue or key telephone system
- Growing businesses adding staff faster than their phone system allows
- Multi-branch organisations wanting internal dialling between locations
- Reception-heavy operations that lose calls at peak times
- Clinics, service businesses and offices needing menus and call queues
- Companies with staff working from other locations who still need an extension
Planning & design
What we work out before quoting
These are the decisions that determine whether the finished system is useful or merely installed.
- Map the call flow before the hardware
- Who answers first, what happens on no answer, what happens after hours. This plan matters more than the model of PABX.
- The network carries the calls
- Voice shares your cabling and switches. Where cabling, switch capacity or PoE cannot support it, that work needs to be part of the project.
- Lines and numbers
- Existing numbers, trunk arrangements and how many simultaneous calls you need are agreed with your provider as part of planning.
- Handset choice per role
- Reception, management, shop floor and remote staff have genuinely different needs. Standardising on one handset for everyone usually satisfies nobody.
- What happens in an outage
- Power and internet interruptions affect calls. Fallback arrangements — such as diverting to mobile — are decided during design.
- Keep it manageable
- Someone on your side should be able to add a user or change a greeting. We brief and document rather than leaving you dependent on a call-out.
How it works
Our implementation process
The same order every time, so you always know what stage the project is at.
- 01
Requirement discussion
Current system, pain points, extension count, departments and call handling needs.
- 02
Call flow design
Extension plan, menus, routing, hours and fallback documented.
- 03
Network check
Cabling, switching and PoE assessed for voice, with any gaps quoted openly.
- 04
Installation
PABX, network connection and handset provisioning.
- 05
Configuration and testing
Extensions, menus, routing, voicemail and recording tested end to end.
- 06
Cutover
Moving to the new system with the old arrangement available while it settles.
- 07
Briefing and support
Staff briefing, admin handover and ongoing support.

Afterwards
Maintenance and support
Installation is the start of the relationship, not the end of it.
- Adding, moving and removing extensions
- Menu, greeting and out-of-hours changes
- Fault diagnosis across the phone system and the network under it
- Handset replacement and additional positions
- Ongoing technical support and maintenance
Questions
Frequently asked
- What is the difference between IP PABX and a traditional PABX?
- A traditional PABX uses dedicated telephone wiring and fixed line cards. An IP PABX runs over your data network, so extensions, branches and remote staff are configuration rather than cabling — and adding a user does not mean adding hardware.
- Can we keep our existing numbers?
- That depends on your line arrangement and provider, and it is confirmed with them during planning — before cutover, not after.
- Will our current cabling and network cope?
- We check cabling, switching and PoE before quoting. Where it will not cope, we tell you and include that work rather than letting call quality reveal it later.
- Can staff in other branches or at home have an extension?
- Yes. Extensions can be provisioned at other branches and for remote staff, with internal dialling between them.

Network Cabling
Cabling is the part of a network nobody looks at until something intermittent starts happening. We install and repair data cabling so it is neat, labelled, tested and easy to work on later.

Structured cabling is the designed version of data cabling: one planned system serving the whole building, documented so anyone can work on it afterwards.

We plan and install Wi-Fi so coverage holds up where people actually work — including the warehouse aisle, the far meeting room and the floor where everyone connects at once.
