New office, relocation or refit — we deliver the whole network as one project: internet handoff, comms rack, cabling, switching, firewall, Wi-Fi, phones, testing, documentation and cutover.
An office network is a programme of work with a deadline, not a shopping list. Cabling has to go in while ceilings are open, the internet circuit has to be ordered long before anyone needs it, and the phones, cameras and door controllers all depend on the same infrastructure. When those pieces are bought separately from separate suppliers, the gaps between them appear on moving day. We plan them together and take responsibility for the whole thing.

We start from your floor plan, not a package
The first conversation is about the layout you are fitting out: positions per area, meeting rooms, reception, store, pantry, plant areas, and where the comms room can go. Outlet counts, access point positions, switch capacity, phone extensions and rack size all fall out of that.
We also ask what is coming later. Spare outlets and spare containment capacity cost very little during a fit-out and a great deal once the ceiling is closed and the office is occupied.
Internet circuit coordination — the longest lead item
Circuit delivery is usually the thing that decides whether a network is ready on time, and it is the part nobody controls. We help you get the order in early, confirm where the provider will terminate the service in the building, and design the network to reach that point cleanly.
Where a second connection is wanted for resilience, it is planned at the same time so the firewall and addressing are built for it from the start rather than retrofitted.
Comms room and rack
The comms room is where reliability is won or lost. It needs space to work, ventilation or cooling for the equipment load, dedicated power, a UPS position, controlled access and a clean route in for cables.
We build the rack properly: patch panels laid out logically, cable management used, power arranged sensibly and everything labelled — so a fault is a five-minute job rather than an afternoon of tracing.

Cat6 and Cat6A cabling with containment
Cabling is chosen for the life of the installation rather than for today's switches, because cabling normally outlives several generations of equipment. Containment is sized with spare capacity so later changes are practical.
Every outlet is tested, every link labelled at both ends, and the results recorded. That record is a handover deliverable, not an optional extra.
Switching, firewall, VLANs and addressing
Switch capacity follows the outlet count plus Power over Ethernet for access points, IP phones, cameras and door controllers. The firewall terminates the internet service and enforces what may talk to what.
We agree the addressing plan and segment structure in writing before configuration: staff, guests, voice, cameras, door controllers and building services generally belong apart from one another. Written first means it can be supported later.

Wi-Fi designed into the fit-out
Access point positions need cables, and cables need to go in while the ceiling is open. Wireless planned during the fit-out costs a fraction of wireless added afterwards.
We design coverage for the areas that matter, separate staff and guest networks from the start, and validate the result before handover.
IP PABX and the systems that share the cabling
IP telephony, CCTV, access control and screens commonly use the same cabling and switching. Designing them together avoids duplicated cable runs and conflicting requirements between contractors.
For telephony we cover extension numbering, call routing and handset deployment, and we coordinate any provider-side arrangements that need lead time.

Testing, labelling and as-built documentation
At handover you receive per-link test results, a consistent labelling scheme, the rack layout, the addressing and VLAN plan and the configuration notes for the equipment we installed.
This is what makes the office supportable by us or by anyone else. It is also the first thing missing from a cheap quotation, so it is worth asking every bidder for it explicitly.
Cutover, then ongoing support
We plan the cutover as a sequence rather than an event: circuit live and tested, core equipment configured, cabling proven, wireless validated, telephony tested, then users moved. That sequence is what makes the first week uneventful.
Afterwards we agree how faults are reported and what support arrangement suits the site, from ad-hoc assistance to a scheduled maintenance arrangement.

Frequently asked
- How early should we involve you in an office fit-out?
- As soon as the premises are confirmed and there is a floor plan. Cabling and containment have to be coordinated with the fit-out programme, and the internet circuit order usually needs the most lead time of anything in the project.
- Can you work with our landlord's contractor or our interior fit-out team?
- Yes. We regularly coordinate with fit-out contractors and building management over cable routes, containment, the comms room and working hours, and we agree the interfaces in writing so nothing falls between trades.
- Do you arrange the internet connection itself?
- The circuit is a contract between you and the provider. We help you specify what to order, coordinate with the provider on where the service terminates, and design and configure everything from that handoff onwards.
- Can the work be phased if the budget is staged?
- Yes, provided the whole network is designed first so each phase fits the same structure. The usual order is containment and backbone, then work areas, then the systems that sit on top.
- Do you work outside Colombo?
- Yes. We are based in Colombo and deliver office network projects across the suburbs and island-wide, including multi-site rollouts built to one standard.
