Challenge
A geographically distributed factory rollout has to maintain a consistent cabling approach while responding to the conditions found at each location. The five sites required GI and network cabling works, with differences between planned and installed quantities recorded clearly.
Engineering Approach
TKWIT prepared and executed the cabling works across Temple Road, Ginigathena, Mahiyanganaya, Opanayake and Deraniyagala. The rollout applied a consistent delivery approach while allowing additional cabling where individual sites required it.
Validation
After the installation was completed, TKWIT produced final variance and excess-cabling records. These records captured the as-built differences that arose during work across the separate factory locations.
What This Demonstrates
The project demonstrates how a multi-site cabling rollout can keep a common standard while still accounting for real conditions at each factory. Recording final variances gives the client a clearer account of what was delivered at each location.
